The Oransi Erik Ultra Plus Air Purifier is the ultimate air purifier for those with allergies, asthma or those looking for light odor control. We built the air purifier that we would want to use. The filters are made in the USA and are the same industrial filters that are used in hospital operating rooms and computer clean rooms. Our main filter has 195 sq feet of filter media and that is 4-39 times more than other air purifiers. More filter media means the filter will last a lot longer. Our main filter is rated as better than HEPA and this is very important for those with moderate to severe allergies or asthma as this level of filtration is required to remove the smallest sized particles from the air. The air purifier will clean an area up to 1,700 sq ft. The pleated pre-filter is 4" deep and has a carbon coating that will adsorb most gases and odors. We use the latest generation German EC motor that uses up to 90% less energy than other air purifiers.
